HUBBARD COMMUNICATION
Hubbard Radio had outgrown their current Cincinnati Office and were ready for a building of their own; one that represented their brand identity and work culture. Their new building blends the dynamic energy of a creative workspace with the warmth and familiarity of a welcoming environment.
The heart of the building is its two-story community space, which serves as both a collaborative meeting area and a venue for concerts or live events. Here, the atmosphere shifts into something livelier and engaging, with a large mural of the cityscape dominating one entire wall. This mural is not only a striking visual feature but also serves as a metaphor for the station’s connection to the community. The mural is vibrant and alive, depicting city landmarks, scenes of local life, and abstract elements that speak to the dynamic energy of urban culture.
The sound studios, where the magic of live broadcasts and recordings happen, offer a completely different vibe. These rooms are soundproofed with acoustic treatments to ensure pristine audio quality, featuring a clean, minimalist aesthetic with dark tones to keep the focus solely on the work.
The overall aesthetic is modern and polished, with clear ties to the creative world of broadcasting, while still offering a comfortable, communal, and functional space for all staff and visitors.
